SAN RAMON — November 4, 2026. San Ramon voters were choosing a mayor in a three-candidate November 3 election. The late-night Contra Costa County tally places Mark H. Armstrong ahead with 13,576 votes (76.0%), compared with 2,527 (14.1%) for Paschalis Ntatsos and 1,753 (9.8%) for Emma Chigbu.
A vote for a citywide office
Unlike a council district race, this mayoral contest covers the city as a whole. Raw totals should not be compared directly with separate district elections, because they cover different voter populations. The reported gap between Armstrong and Ntatsos is 11,049 votes in the snapshot.
Early lead versus final certification
The size of the early margin does not change the legal status of the returns: county officials must still complete their canvass before the outcome can be certified. Results include only ballots accounted for at the time of the report; further eligible votes may be added.
Readers should refer to the registrar’s official releases for the final candidate totals rather than describing the overnight result as a certified election.
