San Ramon Cancels October 28 Policy Committee Session While Arts Advisory Meeting Remains Listed

SAN RAMON, Contra Costa County — October 23, 2026. California58 Local checked San Ramon’s official meeting-notice registry. Scheduled hearings and public notices are not represented as decisions that have already been adopted.

Which meeting was canceled?

The San Ramon public notice registry lists an October 28, 2026 Policy Committee meeting as canceled, with the notice posted October 22. Residents should not travel expecting to speak at a meeting that the municipality has withdrawn from its calendar.

What other civic meetings were listed?

The registry also includes a Transportation Advisory Committee session October 15 and an Arts Advisory Committee meeting October 21. These dates are in the past as of this report. The notice list is an index, not a record of what was approved or how members voted.

Why are canceled meetings worth reporting?

Residents may coordinate childcare or travel to submit comments, and a cancellation can mean a proposal’s next discussion is delayed. But the city notice alone does not explain the reason or establish a new hearing date. We will not invent an explanation.

How to avoid confusion

Follow San Ramon’s official meeting and notices portal for rescheduled committee sessions and the agenda for the October 27 council meeting. When a public issue is postponed, ask the clerk if written testimony must be resubmitted.
